Digital Technology

Today we had digital technology with Matua Tamati. We first sat down and Matua tested us if we still remembered some of the words Matua told us yesterday. The words were input, process, output and storage there was also actions to it. The other words were algorithm, C.S.I (Clear Step by step sables Instruction) function, debug, bug, decomposition, mblock, coding, loop, composition, conditional, and 3D printer. Matua gave us instructions. The instructions were 1 person gets the ipad and the other person gets the Mbot, after we did that we sat down and we had to wait for the next instruction. When we were settled down Matua said, " There's a robot there blinking one eye and you click that then wait for the next instruction". After we clicked on it he said to " click a block and name it light move and song" and we did that. Then he said to connect the mbot to the ipad by just putting the top part of the mbot where the bottom of the ipad is. Then we learned to control it and Matua was just helping us if we didn't understand. We had fun controlling it and Some girls and I learned how to do a wheelie with it. After we sat down behind the yellow line and Matua tested us again because we still had time. When we were finished we stood in a line and we went off to class. We all had fun and we were all excited to go again.
